Troubleshooting

Check the product's own Installation page first: most have a troubleshooting table for their specific features. These are the problems shared by every resource.

ProblemCause and fix
You lack the required entitlementThe server's license key belongs to a different Cfx.re account than the one that owns the asset. Use a key from the owning account, or transfer the asset to the server owner's account in Cfx Portal.
An escrow resource fails to load or says it is encryptedServer artifacts are too old for escrow. Update FXServer to a recent recommended build.
No such export ... in resource lumo-...The resource was renamed or starts later than the one calling it. Keep the original folder name and move its ensure line up.
Blank or invisible interfaceThe folder is incomplete (copied without html/ or web/). Download the zip again and replace the whole folder. Then press F8 and look for red NUI errors.
Two prompts, two menus, or things happen twiceAn old script for the same job is still running. Remove it (see the product's Installation page).
Table '...' doesn't existThe database user cannot create tables. Give it CREATE / ALTER rights or import the product's sql/ file once.
Wrong framework detectedForce it in the product's config (Config.Framework = 'esx', or bridge/config.lua for clothing, inventory, multicharacter and spawn).
Prices or money do nothing on standaloneStandalone servers have no money. Prices are free there unless the product offers money hooks.

Before asking for support

Have these ready, it makes the answer much faster:

  • product and version (from fxmanifest.lua)
  • framework and its version
  • FXServer artifact number
  • what you did, what you expected, what happened
  • the red lines from the server console and from F8

Never send database passwords, license keys or full database dumps.
