Troubleshooting and support — lumo-inventory

Turn on debug output first: Debug = true in bridge/config.lua, and run /invdebug in game (shows the framework and where your items are stored).

SymptomCause and fix
Console: framework: standalone on a QBCore/Qbox/ESX serverThe core starts after lumo-inventory. Ensure qb-core / qbx_core / es_extended first; the console names the core it found.
QBCore: items empty after login, No such export LoadInventory in resource qb-inventoryThe [compat]/qb-inventory shim is not installed, or the real qb-inventory still runs. See INSTALLATION.md → QBCore.
Qbox: qbx_core requires version '2.42.1' of 'ox_inventory'The real ox_inventory is still being loaded. Move it out; install [compat]/ox_inventory as resources/ox_inventory.
Qbox: bad argument #1 to 'for iterator' in qbx_coreox_inventory/data/weapons.lua lacks a Weapons, Ammo or Components key.
Inventory definitions missing; stored items preserved: …A player owns an item that is not in your item list any more. Add it back (items.lua / ESX items table / Config.ExtraItems). Their items are kept, not deleted.
Items vanish on relog (Qbox / ESX / standalone)lumo_inventories could not be created. Import qb-inventory.sql and create the table from INSTALLATION.md → Database by hand.
ESX: scripts still give items to ESX's own inventoryESX older than Legacy 1.9 (no override hook), or the resource was restarted while players were online: restart the server.
ESX: F2 still opens ESX's old item menuesx_inventory (in ESX's [core]) is still running. Stop it; see INSTALLATION.md → ESX.
ESX: police armory / property chest stopped workingesx_addoninventory was stopped. Start it again: it is the job and property storage, not a player inventory.
ESX: pressing E at a gun shop does nothingesx_weaponshop checks the weapon licence through esx_license, which is not running. Start it, or set Config.LicenseEnable = false in esx_weaponshop's config.
ESX: 24/7 purchase fails, console mentions ox_inventorySet Config.Inventory = 'esx' in esx_shops/shared/config/main.lua.
ESX: pressing E at a 24/7 does nothingLook for a red error in F8 and the server console when you press E, and test once with lumo-inventory stopped. esx_shops opens its screen without touching the inventory.
Qbox: no shops / "data/shops.lua is empty"Your ox_inventory/data/shops.lua (the shim's) is empty or broken. Use the one shipped in [compat]/ox_inventory/data/ or your old ox_inventory one.
"You are not authorized to purchase that item"The item needs a licence (e.g. weapon licence), a job, gang, grade or duty. See INTEGRATION.md → shop rules.
ESX: an item shows a question markESX-only item with no picture: save html/images/<itemname>.png.
ESX: everything is very heavy or weightlessConfig.ESX.ItemWeightScale does not match your items table's unit (default 1000: ESX kilograms → grams).
Qbox: "This item could not be used. Check its item handler."Weapons: update to 1.0.3 (older shims did not mark weapons as weapons). Food: add the item to Config.Consumables or give it client = { status = { hunger = … } } in ox_inventory/data/items.lua. Other items: the script that owns the item must register it with exports.qbx_core:CreateUseableItem; ox client.export / server.export items are not called. See INSTALLATION.md → Qbox.
Weapon will not drawIts quality is 0 (repair or replace it), or Config.ItemUse.weaponResource names a resource that is not running.
Ammo item does nothingDraw a weapon that takes that ammo first. Ox-named ammo (ammo-9) needs an entry in Config.Weapons.Ammo.
Drops / vending cannot be usedWith no ox_target / qb-target / qtarget the key prompt appears within 2.5 m: press E (or G/H/Y for the other actions).
No progress bar on Qbox / ESXox_lib is not running (or starts after lumo-inventory).
Shop purchase refused (standalone)FreeShopping = false without Money hooks, or your hook returned false. See STANDALONE.md.
Two inventories open / disagreeAnother inventory (ox_inventory, qb-inventory, esx_inventory, esx_inventoryhud …) still runs. Stop it.
Admin commands refusedQBCore/Qbox: admin permission. ESX: group admin. Standalone: add_principal identifier.license:… group.admin.
