Updating

1. Read the product's Changelog for the new version. Notes marked as config changes tell you which settings are new.
2. Back up your current folder, in particular the config files you edited (config.lua, shared/config.lua, locales/).
3. Download the new version (Cfx Portal → Granted Assets, or your purchase).
4. Replace the folder, then copy your edited settings into the new config files. Do not paste an old config file over a new one: new options would be missing.
5. Restart the server.

Your data (characters, homes, outfits, items) is kept. Resources that create their own tables also upgrade them on start; if a Changelog names an SQL file to import, import it once.

Event and export names do not change between versions, so scripts that call a Lumo resource keep working after an update.
